Hey there! I'm Ami

The image of a person for me is a challenge every time, an opportunity to show him unconventionally and freshly. I use expressive poses, unexpected backgrounds, geometric shapes, rich colors, and distinctive textures. I love to find and display small details that make the image memorable. You won't find two portraits that would be alike. I create such an environment, color palette, and composition for each character that allow you to see a vivid personality in the portrait.

My story

Drawing is something I've loved for as long as I can remember. All the surfaces in my house were filled with colorful characters, and my love of drawing never stopped growing! My inspiration comes from all over — my environment, cartoons or comics that catch my eye, real people around me who share their stories through pictures on social media posts...

In the end, I translate it into my style. Over time, my sense of form, the ability to absorb like a sponge and notice primary forms became added to the knowledge I already had of anatomy. Various techniques and ways to express myself as an artist grew in me with every passing day. And now? It's a real happiness for me when I can create something with my own hands, breathe life into flat pictures, or create whole new worlds! It has been so much fun seeing which style best suits each person and how different they can be from one another! And now I am part of the big Сovatar team, and I am happy to create unique portraits for each and every one of you :)
